For over 40 years Wards of Burnley have been providing recovery services for all types of vehicles from motorcycles to HGV’s, buses, and coaches. They work closely with many main car and commercial dealers, fleet operators, local authorities, police, and other recovery operators.

Wards of Burnley are a member of the Road Rescue Recovery Association and managing director Graham Ward has built and now expanded the company into a multi branch organisation which also now offers MOT’s, repairs, and vehicle servicing.

Graham has been a long-standing user of OMCN lifts and most recently invested in a new Texa diagnostic tool with car, supercar, LCV and HGV applications, and an OMCN lever-less tyre machine and wheel balancer.

Tyre Changing Machine

The 24” tyre machine, supplied by us here at Automotive Tools, comes as standard with a patented ‘power out’ system on the bead breaker to stop it getting stuck in the rim and the ‘Iron Arm’ helper arm to assist in removing run flat tyres with low beads. The pneumatic lever-less system makes light work of even the most difficult tyre changes. It also removes the chances of damaging alloy wheels, as the operator no longer has to lever the tyre up and remove the rim manually.

Tyre Changing Machine

The 24” tyre machine can be used alongside the OMCN Roll 55 balancer with automatic rim width measurement and program selection. There is an electric brake which stops the wheel at the weight placement position and it has a very fast cycle of just 5 seconds. The combination of these 2 machines make tyre changing and balancing very easy with precise efficiency.
