The Automotive Tools training facility is The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) accredited and all successful candidates that take part in the training courses will receive an official IMI certificate.

What is involved in Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Training?

These nationally-recognised IMI accredited courses are designed to train technicians in electric vehicle safety, repair, and maintenance. And are suitable for those with both a basic and advanced understanding of the sector.

The training courses are divided into Levels and each Level covers a range of topics related to safety, maintenance, and repair of mechanisms and components found in electric and hybrid vehicles through classroom-based learning.

Candidate numbers are limited to allow a high level of interaction with the trainer.
For each course there is a final test to ensure that candidates have thoroughly participated and learned the course content.
