Payment
We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order. Goods will be despatched once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods. |
Acceptance
We accept all orders for products subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually despatch the goods to you. Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually despatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment that the goods are despatched (and not before), a contract will be made between you and us. |

Delivery
The standard delivery charges listed in the shopping basket only apply to goods shipped to destinations within the specified regions. Customers requiring delivery to other areas should e-mail us before placing their order(s). |
| Products purchased from the web site should be shipped within 4 working days however we cannot guarantee this. All customers will be notified if there is going to be significant delay and it will be possible to cancel the order. All customers shall be sent an e-mail when their goods are shipped. |
| Certain items available on this site may require specialised delivery and fitting (i.e. lifts). Upon ordering such product you will be contacted via e-mail to advise on the extra delivery and fitting costs. In these circumstances it is possible for to you arrange your own transport/fitting and pick up goods from our warehouse. |
Returns
If you wish to cancel an order you should do so within the 7 working days "Cancellation Period" (beginning the day after receiving the order). You must return the goods to our warehouse (you will not be refunded for any additional carriage charge). If you do not return the goods, we shall arrange to collect them and your refund will be reduced to cover the costs incurred. In all circumstances, you will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation. |

WEEE Regulations
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. |
| The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. |
- Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
- Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

| Automotive Tools & Supplies Ltd (auto-tools.co.uk) is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. |
| For example, if a customer bought a new Electric Drill from us we would accept their old Electric Drill and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. |
| Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below: |

| Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled. |
